The work of Martyna and Gregory Czaplak span across fiction, narrative and commercial. Martyna’s latest released project as a director was a CBC funded Short Doc called “A-Yi”, the story of an unlikely friendship between an elderly Chinese can collector and a group of millennial roommates. Gregory shot, edited and produced the film.

Martyna and Gregory have recently produced shorts for the Chinese Storytelling Centre interviewing Chinese elders from Chinatown and Cantonese Opera communities as well as producing corporate videos for Fairmont Pacific Rim, Lululemon, Shape Properties and SAP Ariba Services.

In 2018, Gregory shot and edited the festival favourite Telus funded short documentary film “The Day Don Died” as well as editing another festival favourite short doc "Synnopsis" in 2019.

This dynamic filmmaker duo has a combined 15 years of experience in the film industry through all stages of production. Working together or within a larger team, they are flexible, collaborative, and ready to take on any size of production.
